Source text:  Exodus 17:8-12

In lijght of current events and th need for a timely reminder let's look at how important it is to be someone who lifts others up, helps them along their path, and encourages those around them.  We don't have much in the scriptures about a man named Hur from Exodus but we can see the powerful example he sets.

We have a great power in us when wwe develop strong friendships.  Friends can be more helpful than family.

We can effect a great amount of good for others and bear much fruit by encouraging others.  Consider how you might focus on these efforts going forward.

We all want heaven as our home.  Let us build each other up so that we might keep the faith, finish the course, and be found faithful in the end!
