A Light to My Path
Introduction: There is a great blessing in appreciating the benefits of God's word. We always proclaim the value of it; often we speak of it; sometimes we actually reference it; hopefully we spend time with it; but seldom, it seems, do we meditate on it. Take a moment to truly appreciate how His word can mold our lives, enrich our prayers, secure our faith, and strengthen our character. It is truly something that lights the path we will travel on this pilgrimage to heaven.
Psalm 119:103-106 how sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through your precepts I get understanding' therefore I hate every false way. 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 106 I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to keep your righteous rules.
