Paul writes of Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:5 "...I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee..." (KJV). the word translated "unfeigned" in the King James Version is translated a variety of ways in oother versions: "genuine" (NKJV), "sincere" (NIV), "authentic" (CEB), "true" (NCV). Strong's defines this word as "undissembled, that is, sincere: - without dissimualtion (hypocrisy), unfeigned." The world would rather see a sermon than hear one. Let's notice ten marks of a genuine faith in the letters to Timothy.
