If we desire to know God intimately, the way He desires and has laid out in His word, we must also examine His wrathful nature. We know God is completely good, therefore we know that His wrath is righteous and perfect and just. Understanding what the consequences are of sin is very important to understand why God sends His wrath on the wicked. We also must understand His perfect and innocent love, which avenges the evil done and protects the righteous and innocent.
