I Am A King
Series: The I AM's of JesusAfter the sin of Adam and Eve, God began to slowly, yet methodically, reveal His plan to save man from sin's consequences. God's promise that the "Seed of woman" would crush the head of Satan gives the first glimps of the messiah (Gen. 3:15). he Seed's victory over Satan would be redemption for man. Later, God reveals more details of His plan when He promises Abraham, "In your seed all the nations of earth shall be blessed," (Gen. 22:18). The Seed of Abraham would bring the great blessing to all the world. Later, God reveals more details of His plan when He promises David, "I will set up you seed after you,...And your house and your kingdowm shall be established forever," (2 Sam. 7:12-16). The See of David would be a King with an eternal kingdom. Jesus is, in fact, the fullfillment of all these expectations.
