Unfortunately, some create their own Jesus in their minds.  Their concept of Jesus is vague.  Jesus demands a more concrete, objective understanding of His humanity and divinity.  He clearly defines the multifaceted quality of His divinity with these challenging claims.

In fact, Jesus adds detail to our understanding of God in general.  Many terms are used in the Old Testament to refer to God:  Almighty God, LORD God, I AM, LORD of Hosts among others, but Jesus gives these terms a deeper meaning.
