Discipline originated with God and is designed by Him to keep human beings "on track." There are two different spheres of God's discipline -- instructive (preventative in nature) and corrective (reformatory in nature). Both are important for the healthy, effective training of a disciple of Christ. This second of two lessons focuses in on the latter phase.
