In this third of a four part series entitled "What Exactly Is...", we explore the nature of a sponsoring church. What is meant by that designation? Is this only an historical issue that flourished decades ago and isn't really that big of a deal anymore? What can we glean from the Scriptures concerning this common practice among churches?
